Municipality. The religious festivities, specially the Festivity of
Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem, help people from Peniche remember and feel

Dia da Rendilheira
(Trimmed-lacer day), inserted in Semana da Rendilheira (Trimmed-lacer
week), is a very important moment of homage to the noble art of
trimming lace and to its artifices, and monthly fairs also please the
population of the Municipality.
When it comes to sport, the summer is
all about entertainment too, with several matches of beach soccer and
volleyball, the famous Corrida das Fogueiras (Fire Race), various championships of nautical sports such as surf, body board, kayak surf, pedestrian walks and BTT.
If you intend to know more about our
Municipality, we suggest a walk in our Tourist Convoy (in activity from
June to September), with the option of going on many walks across Peniche Peninsula, Baleal and Consolação.
In July and August there are guided visits in the tourist convoy, in a
special walk called “Historical Itinerary in the Peniche Pensinsula”.

regarding the West region, as well as on several restaurants and

Also, in the Tourist Information Centre you may check the soil markings regarding the camping area of Berlenga Island.
The Tourist Information Centre is open
all week from 10a.m. to 5p.m. and closed from 1:00p.m to 2:00p.m. During
