The municipality of Peniche presents on the 20th of October at 7:00 pm, in the MH Hotel Peniche, the exhibition "Peniche, The Other Side Of The Wave" by the artist Rita Fernandes. The paintings on display depict small details of unforgettable days during the Peniche Surfing Championship and portraits of national and international surfers.

Rita Fernandes graduated in cinema and fine arts. She worked several years at RTP (Portuguese Radio and Television) as a journalist, presenter and television director. The taste for the arts was always present and, as such, she has been painting, drawing and making video, with a focus on issues related to freedom and justice. The artist´s paintings will be exhibited at the hotel from the 18th to the 31st of October.
